Thriller conventions and what makes us scared (could be a wordle)Film titles (connotations and style)
Film trailers: content and structure (mise en scene, camera, sound, editing and how these combine to attract a target audience)
how film openings establish narrative and genre eg 1408

You could include trailers that you find effective.

You should also apply audience and narrative theories to a trailer or whole film.

Planning    This should all be linked back to your research ideas & trailer conventions wherever possible

Year 13 week commencing 16th Sept

Hello all,
Year 13 work for this week . Update your blogs, making sure all 3 key tasks from June & July are recorded. If you have finished, you can always make a start on researching trailers, particularly those from the crime/psychological thriller genre.
